What is Twelve Yards Provision?
Twelve Yards Provision provides SEMH support, mentoring and alternative provision for young people aged 8–16 who may be experiencing attendance difficulties, school avoidance, SEND needs, behavioural challenges or risk of exclusion.

We support children and young people aged 8–16 years.
Who can refer a young person?
We accept referrals from:
• Schools
• Local Authorities
• Social Care Teams
• Early Help Services
• Parents and Carers
🛡️ Are staff DBS Checked?
Yes, safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. All staff and volunteers working directly with young people will undergo appropriate DBS checks and safeguarding procedures.

• EBSA (Emotionally Based School Avoidance)
• Attendance difficulties
• Risk of exclusion
• Confidence and engagement challenges

Do you provide transport? 🚎
Transport support may be available depending on location, referral needs and capacity. Please contact us to discuss individual circumstances.

You can contact us directly through our website, email or telephone. We will discuss the young person’s needs and identify the most appropriate support package.
How is support tailored to the young person?
Every young person is different. We create individual support plans based on their needs, strengths, goals and circumstances.

We are based in Wakefield and support young people across Wakefield and surrounding areas of West Yorkshire.
